The wine is elaborated with a selection of the grapes Cencibel 100% (Tempranillo) of more than 40 years old from Campo de Calatrava, top-pruned wines and maximun capacity of 5.000 Kg/Hectare which are controlled during the shole year by the winery.

The grape harvest is carried out at the best maturity time, alcoholic fermentation to controlled temperature and macerated during 25 days with the grape skins until the total extraction of its tannins.

The malolactic fermentation takes place in the centenarian ageing room of the winery, where this complex process has been run for more than 100 years ago.

The wine has been aged in new French oak barrels for 6 months and for 20 months in bottle.

Intense colour, high cape, ruby-cherry tones with slight brick tones.

Complex bouquet of matured fruit, spices, vanilla,...

In mouth the flavour´s explosion involves and surprises you; own sweet tannins typical of the perfect joining of a great grape and of a good wood.
